Emily's casual style is a truly reflection of her active lifestyle. You can always spot her in many casual items. Think: Blouses, stripes, off-shoulder tops, jeans, cargo pants, cardigans and denim skirts. Many basics, but definitely not boring!
BRIGHT IT UP
Although she likes to wear many basic items (like her favorite kaki pants), Emily definitely doesn't shy away from using many bold colors! Red, purple, blue or yellow. It fits perfectly with her dark hair and gorgeous olive skin. By also using more bright colors, it makes your outfit more playful.
SCARVES
Emily isn't a big fan of chunky accessories, like Hanna does, but she definitely loves scarves pretty much! Scarves are also another good way of give your casual outfit that extra little touch. You don't need to go crazy by using a lot of prints; a simple gorgeous scarf is already very pretty.
JEANS
Sure, without a doubt is Emily definitely more a jeans girl! She wears them many times, with many shirts and blouses, what makes her look more playful. And let's be honest, what's not better than wearing one of your favorite pair of jeans. Emily likes all kind of different jeans: Ripped off jeans, skinny jeans, dark blue jeans or just faded jeans.
SKIRTS
Although Emily sure owns a lot of pair of jeans and her style is definitely more casual, she also often wears skirts. Her favorites? Kakhi, denim, army green (she can't get enough of it!) and a lovely cute white skirt (perfect for summer). That's her trick to look girly, yet casual. Many times she wears it off with a loose fit top, a striped blouse or a jacket.
STRIPES
One of Emily's other style signatures, are definitely wearing a lot of striped tops. She even wore a striped bag! Stripes are timeless, you can never go wrong with wearing an striped top! The classic blue/white striped top is always a go, but to make you look more fun, try to wear more bold striped tops.
JACKETS
Emily wears a lot of jackets, from parka's to leather bomber jackets. She likes many jackets, as long as it is comfortable, casual and combat chic. Her jackets have always some kind of detail, like the leather sleeves or studs.
SNEAKERS
Emily always wear some chic pair of sneakers, that matches perfectly with her casual style. Don't expect that she wear some kind of tennis shoes. No, she goes for sneakers with details: Studs, pastel colors or funky prints. All Stars of course offers many stylish sneakers, that gives you that extra touch.
MAKEUP
Just like her style, Emily likes to keep it up all low-key. She sticks to her neutral look: Neutral eyeshadow, just a little bit of mascara, nude lipgloss and a soft pink blush. The key to this look, is to maintain a glowing skin. To maintain a healthy skin, it's important to use a good cleanser! This increases breakouts and pores. After cleaning your skin, it's good to use a moisturizer that hydrates your skin through the day. Use an oil-free moisturizer, that doesn't pump out all the extra oil! Then it's makeup time. To get Emily's eye makeup, use a nude eyeshadow palette. Many brands offer a palette in these colors, but The Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Makeup Palette, is definitely a must have. For the eyes, use an volumising mascara that creates long lashes. For the lips, use a nude high shine lipgloss. Nude lipsticks can make you feel pale, but a shiny nude lipgloss fits perfectly by any skin tone. And when it comes to the cheeks, pick a blush that makes your skin and reduces also shiness.
HAIR
Emily's favorite hairstyle, are her long layered locks. They always look healthy and shiny, so it's important that you use a conditioner, that doesn't makes your hair heavy or to grease. A good leave-in-conditoner is the Healthy Sexy Hair conditioner, a brand that also Lauren Conrad uses.
NAILS
Just like her makeup, Emily also wears a lot of neutral nail polishes: Nude, mint green, soft orange, white and light yellow. There are many nail polish brands that offer al these colors.
